Physical Component

Physical symptoms of withdrawal are addressed during detox. Our medical team creates an individualized treatment plan for each client. The goal is always to provide a safe and comfortable detox experience.

The body is going through a lot of changes during withdrawal from drugs or alcohol. 24/7 client care and monitoring are essential to a successful detox.

Mental / Emotional Component

It’s common to experience feelings of overwhelm during the detox process. Our licensed mental health therapists specialize in helping clients process emotions and overcome impulse driven behavior. One-on-one sessions, therapeutic groups and trauma treatment are all part of the healing needed to begin the journey of recovery.

Spiritual Component

Every human is a three part being. We are mind, body and spirit. UHW provides the unique opportunity for clients to explore their spiritual connection. For many, this is the missing puzzle piece. When we learn to rely on a power greater than ourselves, we can look outside of our own unhealthy thought patterns to receive the strength, clarity, and healing we need.
