Amy Coblentz, RN, is a Registered Nurse with more than 23 years of comprehensive clinical experience spanning medical-surgical nursing, home health care, and women’s health, with a strong foundation in patient safety, care coordination, and clinical education.
She currently serves as a Clinical Nurse Coordinator, providing clinical leadership, overseeing care coordination, and mentoring nursing staff to maintain high standards of quality and safety across patient populations. Her background includes extensive hands-on bedside nursing as well as leadership roles that bridge clinical practice and operational support.
Amy’s clinical experience includes work in maternal–newborn and postpartum care, where she supported patients and families during complex medical, emotional, and transitional periods. This experience informs her patient-centered, trauma-aware approach to clinical review and health education.
She holds a Certification in Nursing Leadership and maintains current ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications.
In addition to her professional responsibilities, Amy is actively involved in community volunteer work, reflecting a commitment to service beyond the clinical setting. Her approach emphasizes evidence-based practice, clarity in health communication, and responsible guidance for individuals navigating vulnerable moments of care.
As a clinical reviewer, Amy provides nursing-level oversight to ensure health information is accurate, balanced, and aligned with accepted standards of patient care, particularly in educational content related to recovery, harm reduction, and general health topics.
